King David Patrick Bailey

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of King David Patrick Bailey, age 21, born February 24, 2004, in Atlanta, Georgia, and transitioned on December 19, 2025.

King spent his younger years in the Stone Mountain and Lithonia areas before spending his high school and later years in Cobb County, GA.

He was known for his quiet nature, kind heart, and remarkable intelligence. A natural math whiz, King had a brilliant mind and a deep love for gaming. He also enjoyed one of life's simple pleasures-good food-especially Popeye's, which always brought a smile to his face.

King shared an unbreakable bond with his beloved family dog, Bailey, whom he considered his best friend. Their companionship brought him comfort and happiness, and their love was pure and unwavering. Bailey preceded him in passing on December 1, 2025, and it is a beautiful comfort to know they are reunited once more.

King was preceded in death by his beloved family dog, Bailey (December 1, 2025), and his grandmother, Patrick Elaine Ross (July 13, 2024).

King is survived by his devoted mother, Tanisha Franklin; proud father, David Bailey; beloved younger brother, Caesar Bailey; grandparents Patrick and Roberta Franklin and Bernard and Irene Bailey; godmother Kimberly Williams; and a loving circle of aunts, uncles, cousins, coworkers, and friends who cherished him deeply.

Though his time with us was far too short, King's life will forever be remembered through the love, memories, and quiet brilliance he shared with the world.
