I have known David since his infancy, as he was my nephew. We enjoyed long stays at the beach, as he and my sons were kids, and they enjoyed pranking our neighbors at the beach, and were quite inventive planning their pranks...One such prank involved a chalk drawing of the outline of a body in the street at night, when no one observed, and in the morning, watching people avoid walking over the drawing, seeming to think it was a real police tracing. In more recent years, David, Aubrey and I collaborated in our genealogy research, and enjoyed sharing our findings with each other...We found all we needed for him to join the SAR, which he really enjoyed being a part of. He sent me photos of their meetings, and the patriotic decorations, he was a real patriot. He will be missed. My deepest sympathy to Aubrey, who lost her father too soon in her young life...Love, Aunt Kathy

David and I both shared a love of history. Truly a man of many talents. My prayers go out to his family. Rest easy dear friend.
