Dave was a friend of mine. We grew up on Church Street in Zeeland just a block from one another. We both attended Second Reformed Church with our families and also were both 1958 graduates of Zeeland High School. In later years I visited him and his wife Gaye in Grand Haven where I live in the summer. My love to Gaye and daughters as they mourn his loss
