David Milton Barr Jr.

David M. Barr, Jr., 82 years, of the Pricetown Community, died Monday August 25, 2014. He was born August 7, 1932 in Pricetown, the son of the late David M. and Jennie Ethel (Young) Barr. Beside his parents, he was preceded in death by three sons, Garry Wayne Barr, Darrell Milton Barr, David R. Barr; two sisters, Irene Roush and Irma Mock. Junior was a graduate of Lynchburg Clay High School, member of the Pricetown Church of Christ and retired from the Cincinnati Milacron Company. On June 24, 1951 he was united in marriage to Mary Ruth (Simmons) Barr who survives. He is also survived by one son and daughter-in-law Larry and Bobbi Barr of Pricetown, one daughter and son-in-law Candy and Doug Fox of Pricetown; 12 grandchildren, Heather (Brian) Geeslin, Mindy Brown, Joshua (Jerretta) Barr, Curtis (Mandy) Ross, Ashley (Randy) Wallen, Wyatt Ross, Tiffany Barr, Jeromey (Cheyenne) Barr, Rachel (Rich) Hostettler, Kyle (Heather) Barr, Amy Fox, Jennie (Zach) Napier; 15 great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Von Miller of Hillsboro; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Bob and Jane Roush of Hillsboro; three nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Thursday, August 28, 2014 at the Pricetown Church of Christ. Daryl Mount and Leo Kuhn will officiate with burial in the Ruble Cemetery.
