David Barth Obituary

Published by Legacy on Dec. 27, 2024.
David Ray Barth, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, departed from this world on December 23, 2024, at the age of 70. Born on October 29, 1954, in Kansas City, MO, David lived a life marked by love, dedication, and a zest for the world around him.
The son of the late Norman and Rheda (Light) Barth, David grew up with a deep sense of belonging and community that he would carry with him throughout his life. He was a beacon of strength and support to his loved ones, including his devoted wife of 14 years, Cindy Barth. Together, they shared a life full of joy and companionship. David was the proud father of Dustin Ray Barth, Jordan Ray Barth and his wife Kristina, Matthew Baker, Amber Bowers and her husband Brent, and Jared Baker and his wife Michelle. His legacy of kindness and wisdom lives on through them. David's playful spirit and loving nature were also a blessing to his grandchildren, Zoe, Charlotte, Grayson, Dani-Lee, and Dexter, who will miss their grandfather's warmth and laughter. He is survived by his brother, Daniel Barth and his wife Twyla, and his mother-in-law, Patsy Landers, who will remember David for the remarkable man he was.
David's professional life as vice president of Jack Boles Valet Service was characterized by his strong work ethic and his role as a good provider. He made a lasting impact on his colleagues and those he served through his work. His involvement with the Abundant Life Church worship team was a testament to his strong faith.
An interesting and thoughtful man, David had an array of interests that reflected his vibrant personality. David found a special place in his heart for Colorado, where he felt most at peace with the world. Above all, David loved his family and grandchildren. They were the cornerstone of his life, and his actions always reflected the depth of his affection for them. His presence was a source of comfort and joy, and his guidance was sought after and cherished.
David will be remembered as a loving husband, a dedicated father, a doting grandfather, and a loyal friend. His life was a tapestry woven with the threads of kindness, generosity, and thoughtfulness-qualities that defined him and endeared him to all who had the privilege of knowing him.
A memorial service will be held 2:00 pm Sunday, December 29, 2024, at Abundant Life Church in Garland. Pastor Glynn Davis will officiate.
