I am Dave's cousin, Laurie Barton Doulin, and I'd like to express my sympathy to the family. I am so sorry and hope that his memories will continue to be a part of your family. His Dad and mine were brothers. My dad was Charles Barton. He passed away many years ago. I remember Dave when my family went to his mom's and Dad's house in New Windsor, at times, during the holidays.. Many, many years ago. I may have been 8 or 9 or 10... And i am now 65... My Uncle Dave, what a wildcat he was! How do you even sum a fierce spirit like his! He was the absolute funniest, his story telling would have you on the edge of your seat - hanging on every single word! He had an exceptional way of making me feel like our relationship was special and he nurtured that no matter the distance or distance of time. I love him deeply and I will miss him being physically here with me. To my wild Uncle Dave!

I´m Dave´s cousin, Cynthia Barton. My father Charles Barton was Dave´s fathers brother. It saddens me that I never got to know Dave or his siblings and families. Dave´s obituary describes a wonderful person. I´m so sorry for your loss.
