David Becker Obituary
David was truly the definition of a "heart of gold." Throughout his life, he generously shared his time and talents to help anyone in need-family, friends, or even strangers. He worked in several trades, including construction, welding, and mechanics, and enjoyed fishing, watching NASCAR, and spending time with friends and family. David lived an adventuresome life and had many stories and memories he liked to share with everyone.
He is survived by his wife, Cari Bregar; daughters Megan (Bryan Nauman) Becker of Adel, Iowa, Madison (Bryant Campbell) Becker, and Maci Becker of Des Moines; daughters Steffanie (Beau) VanRanken and Jackie (Joe) Ruby of Texas; and son Nate (Meggan) Becker of Des Moines. He is also survived by his brother Roger (Rose) Becker of Willey, Iowa; sisters Betty (Don) Thomas and Pam (Dean) Berkland of Perry; five grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
David was preceded in death by his mother, LaJune Becker Majerus; father, Edward Becker; and sisters Jerilyn Olesen and Kathleen Schmitz.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
The family wishes to thank everyone who has reached out during this time. Condolences and memorials may be directed to the family.
