David J. Belile

Massena: David J. Belile Sr., age 86 passed away peacefully after a long illness on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh, NY. The family has entrusted arrangements to the care and direction of the Phillips Memorial Home, Massena.
David was born on December 13, 1939, in Louisville, New York to the late Earl Belile Sr. and Esther (Shaw) Belile. He grew up in Brasher New York and attended and graduated from St. Lawrence Central High School.
At an early age David had an artistic ability to create beautiful pieces of art, and was a multi-talented musician as well, that he also extending onto loving his children. He was soon married to his loving and devoted bride, Ann (Milmore) Belile on September 2, 1961, at St. Mary's Church in Massena, NY.
David began his family as he continued to work for ALCOA, for the following 30 years retiring in 1997 as a production welder. In his past time David continued his love for art and music, with love for the game of golf. He was a past member at Massena Country Club, Raymondville Golf Course and enjoyed playing with family and friends at Twin Brooks Golf Course in Waddington, NY.
David could also be found for several years traveling with his wife and family to Florida, enjoying the Sun and weather for nearly 10 years. He was also proud of his children and grandchildren, most recently welcoming his great-grandson Hudson into his bright world.
David leaves his memories to be cherished by his wife Ann of nearly 65 years, son David J. Jr. and his wife Denise of Massena, NY, Kimberly and her husband Timothy Whyland of Baldwinsville, NY along with his two grandsons Joshua D. Belile and his wife Savannah of Massena, NY, Christopher J. Belile and his partner Aleisha Smith of Sioux Falls, SD, and one great grandson, Hudson.
He is also survived by his brothers Richard and Cynthia Belile of Buffalo, NY, Arthur and Ruth of Lafayette, Indiana, along with several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents David was predeceased by his brothers Earl and Duane Belile.
As per the family's wishes, there will be no funeral services or calling hours at this time.
