David Norman Berman, 94, Cherry Hills Village, Colorado, passed away peacefully at his home following a sudden illness. He was the loving husband of the late Karla Mae Berman; loving father of Holly Berman and Mark (Jody) Berman; loving grandfather of Anna and Nathan Berman, and of Max Fine; and the son of the late Mollie and Hyman Berman.
An avid vintage car racer and skier who also enjoyed fly-fishing and travel, David practiced oral and maxillofacial surgery in the Denver area from 1961-2010. He co-founded the Denver Health Medical Center (formerly Denver General Hospital) Oral Surgery Residency Program in 1963, served as an officer of the Rocky Mountain Dental Study Club and advocated for Kids in Need of Dentistry.
A Graveside Service to honor David will be held, Sunday, 10/5, 2:00 pm at Emanuel Cemetery at Fairmount. Livestream available on Feldman Mortuary's YouTube Channel (https://www.youtube.com/@FeldmanMortuary/streams). A reception/ Shiva will be held at Mark and Jody Berman's house, 10747 E. Crestline Dr., Greenwood Village, following the service until 7:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in David's name may be made to Kids in Need of Dentistry, Alzheimer's Association, or Jewish Family Service, or a charity of your choice.
