Dear Doris, Mike, Jack and Judy,
I happened to come across Dave's obituary on line today. I had not heard and had no idea. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. I wish I had known and I would have been at the funeral. I think of you all often and miss you. I have very fond memories of time spent at your house growing up and times spent together. Judge Berry was always a support to me and is the reason I got the law office job many years ago. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Doris, Mike, Jack, Judy and family,

I was out of town for the week-end and learned of David's death when I got home Sunday afternoon. I grew up in Madison County and attended Good Hope Baptist Church. I have know David all my life. He and my father knew each well. I know you will miss him very much. He was a fine man and was always kind to my folks.(Bob and Evie Reddish) May God give you peace and comfort during this difficult time. My prayers are with you.

Doris and Family,
I was saddened to learn of David's passing. He was a person whose advice I sought several times over the years. Also, I recall hauling rock with him when your house was being built. He will be greatly missed.

For Mike, Jack and their families. I met you the week of the 4th in the Neuro ICU, I am Terry, the daughter-in-law of Ed Bimler. Your father and Ed shared so many of the same issues and yet outcomes have been extremely different. I have prayed for your family over the past several weeks and will continue to do so as your hope has turned to grief. Sometimes God places people in our paths for mere moments. I am glad I was able to meet you, the Barry family; I saw a family that resonated a strong love and compassion for the one you now morn, as well as for each other.

Mrs. Berry, Mike, Jack, Judy & family:
My deepest sympathies over the passing of Judge. He was a solid person, and outstanding as a lawyer and judge. I felt priviledged to know him & be good friends with his sons. May you have strength in this time of sorrow.

Judy, I have fond memories of your Dad. He was a very handsome and distinguished gentleman who was so kind to me when I met him at your college graduation. May your lifetime of memories comfort your family at this time and in the days to come. God bless all of you.

Dear Jack, I was saddened to read this morning of your Father's death. I always considered him to be an outstanding judge and man, and I was honored to be his colleague. On the times we were together, I found him to be warm and friendly, and it was a pleasure to know him. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers at this difficult time. Sincerely yours, Shore Robertson
