David Birenzi

David Birenzi was born on January 1, 1966, in the Democratic Republic of Congo. A devoted husband, father, and man of faith, David lived a life marked by resilience, service, and unwavering devotion to God. He passed away peacefully on May 26, 2025, at approximately 7:40 p.m., surrounded by his loved ones.

David was married to Claudina Birenzi Nyaruhanga, and together they were blessed with three children. A baptized Christian at Vyura in Congo, David lived out his faith with deep commitment and was always active in the church.

During the turmoil of war in his homeland, David fled to Burundi, where he found refuge and continued to lean on his faith. In 2015, he and his family immigrated to the United States, settling in Des Moines, Iowa, where they have lived for the past ten years.

David was a faithful member of Redeemed Fellowship Center Church, attending all services and participating actively in the life of the congregation. His presence, encouragement, and dedication were a blessing to many.

David's life was a testimony of endurance, faith, and love. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, church community, and all who had the privilege to know him.

May his soul rest in eternal peace. You will be missed and remembered with love.
