David Blood

April 28, 1930 - May 11, 2023 Rolling Hills Estates Dave Blood, loving husband, devoted father, doting grandpa and beloved friend, passed away peacefully on May 11 after a brief illness. Dave was born in Los Angeles on April 28, 1930, grew up in the View Park area of the city, raised his family in Gardena and Palos Verdes, and retired after a successful career as President of Tam's Stationers, a Southern California chain of office supply stores. He was predeceased by his son, Dan; and is survived by his loving wife, Sally; sons, Larry and Paul; daughter-in-law, Cynthia; grandchildren, Andrew and Sofia; nephew, Steve Clark and his wife, Carol; and by many other relatives and dear friends. His strength of character, sense of humor and family leadership will behonored and cherished always. A celebration of Dave's life will be held in the near future for immediate family. The family requests those who wish to express sympathy to consider making a donation to their favorite charity in Dave Blood's name.
