On Friday, September 26, 2025, David Patrick Bouldin passed from this life to everlasting life with his loving family by his side. We have no doubt that he was rejoicing as he got to meet Jesus face to face. For David, there is no more sickness, no more pain and no more suffering. He is dancing, clapping, and laughing in pure joy at finally having gotten to the place where he always proclaimed that he would go one day. We rejoice with him!
David was the second oldest of four children born in five years to Agnes R. Bouldin and Alfred D. Bouldin Jr. (now deceased). He was the younger brother of Linda Lang (Wayne), and older brother of Joseph Bouldin and Mary Herring (Jim). He was also the stepson of Lois Bouldin, brother-in-law of Maria Bouldin and cousin of Laura Wooden (Ted). He has many more cousins; far too many to note here. Of those who called him Uncle David, are Melissa King (Brent), Cara Wooden, Jacob Lang, Andrea Brigman (Brett), Rachel Wooden, Rebecca Lang and Daniel Bouldin. He has 4 adored great nieces and nephews; Maddie, Carson, Kody, and Kinsley.
David was blessed to have an entire church family at Church of the Resurrection in Timonium, Maryland where he could be found most Sundays with his hands held high in praise to the Lord. Much like a politician running for office, David would greet everyone; even the babies. He felt right at home in church and was loved by everyone that knew him.
Counted among David's extended family members were the housemates that David lived with for so many years in Park Heights, Maryland. His 'brother' Robert lived with David for over 20 years. He was also predeceased by longtime housemate Larry Levine. David's favorite Emerge supervisor, Dennis Garcia was always there for David through joy and sorrow. He was the constant in David's life for ten years. His wife Crystle was always extending love to David as well and they all made him feel like one of their family. His other favorite person, Chasity Williams AKA 'Daisy', was the one David would call when he needed something. In fact, all the staff at Emerge were considered family to David. He always joked that one day he was going to get an office there and be boss over everybody!
Being a Dialysis patient for the past five years at Davita Dialysis in Park Heights, we know how important the staff there have been in caring for David. They took good care of him and communicated with us about his needs. Emerge.Inc has also gone above and beyond to help David as a client for the past 30+ years. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Emerge.inc in David's memory at https://emergeinc.org/donate/ or in support of those living with renal disease like David had to the Renal Support Network at https://www.rsnhope.org/donate/.
Our family looks forward to celebrating David's homecoming with all of you. We rejoice with gladness because David is finally home.
