David Brown Obituary
Age 83 passed away December 30, 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gil and Betty Brown; and his brother, Peter Brown. He is survived by his wife, Eleanor, daughter, Madeline; brothers Chris (Sally), Phil (Mary), Jeff (Liz); nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
With artist's eye Dave was competent in all his endeavors be it as a collector, builder, innovator, or mechanic. Whether he was selling his collections of Minneapolis Moline tractors, wood burning stoves or rare books, he took great delight in all his ventures. He dove, for example, into projects like rebuilding motorcycles, his '34 Ford, an Austin 7 English car, and an abandoned 1919 John Deere dealership building turning it into a charming business venue in Stockholm, WI. He also enjoyed all folks he met trucking fine art to east coast museums, auction houses and private collectors. But, his favorite place was his "place bone" near Baldwin, WI. where he could work on machine engines. His insightful humor always made us laugh. He saw life as art and lived it well. He was our joy. He will be forever missed.
