Condolences to David´s family. David and I were friends in grade school and high school. He was a great guy. We loved doing things together in the outdoors. I have always had fond memories of those days with him.
I will date our friendship with this bit of information: when his family lived in Sharpstown we would go hunt birds and rabbits with our pellet guns in an area not far from their house. This area later became the campus of Houston Baptist College. At that time Houston was largely undeveloped on this side of town, this would have been in about 1964, 65. I also went fishing with David and his family. Good times. His dad was great.
Regretfully, I never saw David again after our high school days. We went separate ways. I have thought about him often. He was a solid guy. I know you must be proud of him.
Again, my condolences to you all.
