David Bujnoch Obituary

David Leon Bujnoch
10/03/1951 - 02/11/2024
With great sadness, we announce the passing of David Leon Bujnoch, who left us peacefully on February 11, 2024. David was a loving husband, father and grandfather as well as a loyal friend.

Born and raised in Houston, Texas, David graduated from Strake Jesuit High School and attended the University of Texas. David was happiest when he was spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren. He was an avid card player, loved tinkering with computers and enjoyed getting together with friends and family for a good meal.

David is lovingly remembered by his wife of 45 years, Eileen; son, Andrew and daughter-in-law Kaelyn; daughter, Melanie Baldridge and son-in-law Mitchell; and grandsons, Lincoln, Phoenix, Matthew, and Henry. He is survived by his siblings, Carolyn Lipinski, Martha Bujnoch, Tim Bujnoch and Janet Steines as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews and other loved ones. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leon and Georgia Bujnoch.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 17, 2024, in the Chapel at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church of Houston. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Catholic School.

We miss and love you always, David.

Sad to hear of David´s passing. Wish I could have seen him one last time. He was a fun and enjoyable guy to be around. I recall many great times while growing up and being around David. The many good times fishing, exploring, and general goofing around with him at his dad´s river place and when he visited our grandpa in Taiton. Even in the cotton fields while picking cotton and weighing and dumping the bags he could make me laugh. David you will always be in my memories. May you rest in peace and God bless you.

He was the best of the best when it came to being part of a very large and close family and he was a great friend to all. We will truly miss him and that gorgeous smile. Love & hugs to Eileen, Andrew, Melanie and his grandchildren.
