David Campbell Obituary
David R. Campbell, 88, passed away Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at his Interlachen residence following an extended illness.
A native of Minford, Ohio, David had resided in west Putnam County for the past 35 years coming from Columbus, Ohio. He spent most of his career working in the telephone communications industry, retiring in 1992 from AT&T in Columbus after 35 years of service as an electrical engineer.
He was a life member of the American Motorcycle Association. He and his wife thoroughly enjoyed riding motorcycles, attending car and motorcycle races, and traveling in the family Winnebago. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
David was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Maxine Campbell; a daughter, Peggy Anne Campbell; parents, Paul and Annabelle Campbell; a brother, Connie Campbell; and a sister, Sandra Sullivan.
Surviving are his daughter, Lizanne Campbell of Port Orange; a grandson, Corey Campbell Williams and wife, Kelly of Daytona Beach; a great-grandson, Nolan Asher Williams; and two nephews.
Funeral services will be 12 p.m. Thursday, February 12, 2026, at Masters Funeral Home in Palatka with Pastor Maurice Sterling officiating. The family will receive friends after 11:30 a.m. – a half-hour before the start of the service.
