I got David when he was one day old! He said he loved rocking chairs because I rocked him every day. He said he loved trains because I took him to Denver on a train at 3 months old. We have a long complicated but loving story. I adopted him twice. David had a big heart, would give you the shirt off his back. His love for me was genuine. He loved Mississippi and after many visits, moved here permanently in 2013. He knew his Lord and Savior. I found his Bible and his Celebrate Recovery books besides his bed with favorite verses highlighted. His love for animals was unbelievable. He enjoyed cooking but loved my cooking the best. We all will miss him. Gone way too soon. To his friends, he simply would not take his BP meds, refused to go to Dr. His BP was 280 when found on the street on his way to feed the cats, which he did every Sunday. With the massive stroke he had, so much blood that it moved his brain to the side & down the spine. Gone when he fell. We did the Honor Walk and donated his organs on Wed. Dec. 17th. Wish all his friends could have been here. He loved everyone.

RIP old friend I was one of the lucky people in your life to know how big your heart was.

I've known David since Jr. High. I'll always remember his sweet and mischievous smile. I know he is at peace with God. My prayers sent to beautiful Jessica, Susan, his Mom, and all who loved him.
