David Chozinske, 68 of Sheffield Village passed away on Wednesday, September 3, 2025 in Hospice Care at Normandy Nursing Home. He was born on March 4, 1957, in Lorain, Ohio to the late John and Jean Chozinske. He graduated from Brookside High School in 1976. David returned to help coach the football team years later. He loved listening to Elvis and watching old western movies, and joked about knowing the Christmas movies he watched.
David is survived by his sisters, Sue (Don) Boerwinkle and Betty (Tom) Schuster; a son, David, Jr.; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Jean Chozinske; siblings, Jean Szymanel and Tom Chozinske; and grandparents.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 9 from 9:30 - 10:30 am at the Wyers-Bollinger Funeral Chapel, 2900 N. Ridge Rd. E., Sheffield Twp., followed by the funeral mass at St. Teresa of Avila Parish, 1878 Abbe Rd., N., Sheffield, Ohio.
