David Connolly Obituary
Age 73, of Scott Township, passed away on Wednesday, August 7, 2024. Born in Duquesne, PA, he was a son of the late John and Thelma (Johnson) Connolly. David is survived by his loving wife of 50 years Carla L. Connolly (Hulick); his beloved daughter, Mara Sober (Shawn); his cherished granddaughters, Ciara and Maya Sober; and his brothers, John Connolly (Kris), Joe Connolly (Karen), Jim Connolly (Donna), and Dennis Connolly. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.
David played football at Arizona State University and was proud to have played in and won the Fiesta Bowl. He worked for many years in Treasury Management and began and ended his career with PNC Bank. David was an avid golfer, and was extremely proud of his Irish heritage. He enjoyed traveling and visiting his family back in Ireland. Above everything, David loved his family, especially his granddaughters.
All are welcome Sunday, August 11, 2024, 2-6 PM, WILLIAM SLATER II FUNERAL SERVICE, 1650 Greentree Road., Scott Township, 412-563-2800. Mass of Christian Burial, Monday, August 12, 10 AM, St. Bernard Church, St. Michael the Archangel Parish, 311 Washington Road. Burial will be private.
