To the entire Cook family I am deeply saddened over the loss of your father(Dave). As a kid if I wasn't at the Cooks house the twins were at mine. If it wasn't their cabin in Harrison, Mi the boys were with me camping every weekend through the summer. I specifically remember being intimated by Dave because he was always quiet, but I sure learned alot from him when James and I tore apart his garage and misplaced his tools all the time. Dave always answered any dumb questions kids have and explain exactly how to do something or show us so we would fix problems. I've been quite distant over the past 15 yrs or so, but I can still remember everything like it was yesterday. I really thought we in the deepest pile of mess when James crashed Dave's beloved Mirada into a tree trying to make a right turn, we definitely were going to fast, to many people in the car. Which caused James to lose control and we slid into a tree. I couldn't believe such a small tree could do so much damage. The frame was bent and of course that tree stands there to this day. Sorry to ramble on but I thought maybe some funny stories may help you to laugh if only for a second. Well John's back with both his mom and his dad. Maybe a little comfort knowing he had his beloved wife waiting for him so he wasn't alone and of course John is there to. R.I.P Dave, Pat and John.
