Miss you Dave. I think about you every time Trump et al does something crazy.

Dave was a college friend at Binghamton, his signature Good Morning line always made me smile. Truly one of the good guys.

I wish that I could talk to David about Trump not allowing "fact checking". It would be nice to hear his calm evaluation of how people will get around it. I miss his smart, kind soul.

Dave and I were in SPEAC (St. Paul Ecumenical Alliance of Congregations). We put on a mayoral forum together. He was a fantastic partner. He was always prepared, happy, and wearing colorful socks. After SPEAC, we continued our friendship by having a movie club. Dave was very bright, kind, and a good friend. Lately, we only saw each other on Mississippi River Road and Parkway Pizza. A very fine man, who will missed by me and many, many others. When he reaches heaven, he will be greeted by Our Lord with: well done my good and faithful servant.
