David Barrus Creagh, 56, passed away on March 26, 2025. David was a 1987 graduate of Tallulah Falls High School and attended Warren Wilson College in Swannanoa, NC. He was the proud owner of CBL Creagh Brokerage LLC. David was an avid outdoorsman - he loved hunting, camping, fishing and all types of music. He was the host of Creagh Fest, a memorable neighborhood music fest. David also enjoyed golfing and riding on his Harley. His favorite teams were the GA Bulldogs and the Atlanta Braves.
He was preceded in death by his father, Allen Creagh, as well as his grandparents, John Walthal Creagh and Lillie Bell Barrus Creagh, and Floyd and Faye Hughes.
David is survived by his wife, Twila Creagh; son, Bradley Loveless (Ashlea Riden); mother, Romona Hughes Creagh; brother, Henry Allen Creagh (Jenis O. Edwards); sister, Allison Faye Creagh (Robert D. Roll); nephews, Robert Gates Roll and Maxwell Dale Roll, as well as his niece, Jennifer Stephan Rose.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 1, 2025 from 4 – 8 p.m. at Turner Funeral Home. A visitation will also be held on Wednesday, April 2, 2025 from 12 – 2 p.m. A funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. with Michael Loveless and Sister Linda Harris officiating.
Pallbearers will be Curt Johns, Marvin Day, Chris Filyaw, Ken Ainsworth, Jeremy Arnold, Greg Hallman, Jeff King and Jimmy Ledford.
David will be laid to rest in Ooltewah Cemetery.

We fondly remember David's visits to his sister's house (Alison) in Murrells Inlet during the bike festivals. He was a fun-loving, kind person who enjoyed life to its fullest. With heartfelt sympathy to David's family as your mourn the loss of your loved one.
