Condolences to the Carr family upon the loss of David! He was a classmate of mine from elementary through high school. I have never forgotten the fun times we shared together at Knapp School. I remember visiting the Carr home in Michigan City and meeting David's father, a TV repairman, if memory serves. David was always a great guy!

We are glad Dave got to share his Mayberry dream and thankful he let us share it with him. We met Dave through his work with the American Legion in E.J. And like Norm in Cheers, everyone knew his name. He is now at peace and we will all miss him. Our deepest sympathies to his family.

Dave and I met in second grade and became best friends all the way past high school, as Dave would say " we´re brothers till the end ". I have so many memories of the things Dave and I did because we were always together doing good things and crazy things. It´s impossible for me to wrap my brain around the fact that he has gone on. I´m sending my sincere condolences to Jan, his children and Gail. He will live on in all of our memories.
