David DelGrosso, affectionately known as "Delbo," was born on February 26, 1961, in Allentown, PA, and passed away on January 16, 2025. He leaves behind a legacy of excellence, passion, and love that touched the lives of many. A self-proclaimed perfectionist, David was known for his meticulous nature, which extended even to his wardrobe—he would iron his jeans, showcasing his commitment to detail in all aspects of life. His intelligence was apparent from an early age; David studied electrical engineering at Penn State University, later graduating from Lincoln Technical Institute with a remarkable 4.0 GPA. His dedication to his education laid the groundwork for a successful career.

David served his country in the United States Air Force from 1982 to 1987. As a radar specialist, he faced challenging conditions abroad, specifically in Germany, where he trained others in radar display simulators and served as an aircraft control and warning specialist. His military service shaped his strong work ethic and disciplined approach to problem-solving, qualities that served him well in his roles as a senior technical support analyst for AT&T and a codes engineer at Agere Systems.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, David held a passion for life that was reflected in his many hobbies and interests. An avid fisherman, he found peace in nature and enjoyed sharing these moments with his family. He was also a star baseball player in his community, showcasing his athleticism and competitive spirit. A proud father, he treasured the time spent with his children and took great pride in their achievements. For David, family was everything. He was also an avid motorcyclist, riding Harley's and Indians, enjoying the freedom of the open road.

Dave's love for sports extended to his fervent support of the Phillies, the Eagles, and the Iron Pigs. He enjoyed the thrill of gambling and was quite good at it, in addition to having a great sense of humor that brought laughter and joy to those around him.

David is survived by his loving family, including his brothers Christopher Anthony (Sally) DelGrosso and Michael Joeseph (Carol) DelGrosso, Jr., his cherished children Nicholas Anthony DelGrosso and Toinette (Jacob) Gibson-Bascombe, his dear niece Erin Rae (Glen) Henson, his grandson Massimo Gibson-Bascombe, and numerous cousins including cousin Thomas Epsaro. He was preceded in death by his father, Michael Joseph DelGrosso, Sr., and mother, Victoria Anne DelGrosso.

David's memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. His unwavering commitment to his passions and his family will be fondly remembered as a testament to a life well-lived.
