Today, the Sooner Nation feels a little quieter and a whole lot heavier.

David had a rare gift: he brought people together. Across miles, generations, and backgrounds, he united the Sooner Nation far and wide with pride, passion, and an open heart. He made strangers feel like family and reminded us that being a Sooner was never just about football it was about belonging.

His spirit, loyalty, and love for community will live on in every shared memory, every game day cheer, and every moment we find ourselves saying, "That´s what being a Sooner is all about."

Sending love, prayers, and deepest condolences to David´s family, friends, and all who were lucky enough to know him. He will always be part of the crimson thread that ties us together.
