David Lee Dickerson

2023-2025

David Lee Dickerson, 23 months old, Union Star, Missouri, passed away the morning of Thursday, November 27, 2025.

He was born December 9, 2023 in Maryville, Missouri, to Austin Lee Dickerson and Melanie Lynn Ware.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Gary Ware. Survivors include his parents, Austin Dickerson and Melanie

Ware; sister on the way, Emily Lynn Dickerson; grandparents, Janet "Mimi" Ware and Maya Saltkill; half sisters, Hannah and Audry Conover; aunts and uncles, James, Brendin and Mikayla Saltkill; and a loving extended family.

During his brief visit on earth, David enjoyed singing, dancing, listening to and playing music, cuddling with soft toys, being in nature, picking flowers, blowing bubbles, playing with cars, long drives, being in water, throwing and kicking balls, coloring, and being held close by his parents and grandparents. He was a joyful soul who brought smiles to all and was thoughtful, generous, and creative. He was loved by all who met him, and will be greatly missed.

The family will gather with friends 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 2, 2025 at Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. A Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday, December 9, 2025, time and location TBD. The family requests contributions to David's Funeral Fund.
