David Alan Dittman

I am very saddened to hear of Dave's passing. I have known Dave for nearly two decades -- he was a mentor to a number of checkers players, and was a very nice and pleasant person. My only regret is that our paths never crossed at tournaments.

In our last interaction online, he seemed to be in good spirits. Dave was a great person and checkers player, and will be missed.

I'm so sorry to hear about David's passing. I have many great memories spending time with him and his friends in St. Louis or Salem. His sense of humor was unmatched. Prayers to his family.
