Just a short message of how I know Dave and how I would stop by and check up on him and help him out with different things. Will miss going by his places and noit stopping in to say Hi and and BS with him. You have my condolence. Jerry

We had some good times in and out of school, rip Dave

To Dave's Family-
I sat next to Dave in home room for all four years of High School. It was a friendship that probably wouldn't have occurred except for the spelling of our last names. In the 60's you sat in alphabetical order.
I could depend on him, and he on me, to consult with each other whether on friends, social events or family. He made me laugh in his quiet, always respectful manner.
In this week, where sexism has shown it's ugly head........at the top of our governmental process......Dave treated me as an equal. I could depend on him to agree with my "feminist stance".
I followed the "Invaders" from gig to gig. He always made sure I knew where they would be playing. How fortunate we all were to dance and sing to live music every weekend. So, sorry, we didn't keep in touch, Dave. But, I want your daughters to know you were a very special person to me. A true friendship, without any complications of "teen romance". A young man that was respectful, fun, handsome, and a talented musician.
I have thought of you often, Dave, and am thankful for having you in my life at a time when I really needed you.
