David Mark Dobrzynski M.D.

As a former patient for 30 years, I cried my eyes out about 4 months ago for my kind and gentle PCP. Although I spent my adulthood "trying" to spell Dobrzynski to many providers.......he was a shining light in my life that I will cling to, and not forget. To his family and colleagues, my condolences are immense. God bless.

My daughters and I were so very blessed to have Dr. Dobrzynski as our doctor. He was simply the best and we loved him dearly. We are so heartbroken. Prayers and thoughts for his wife, children, grandchildren and colleagues. Our world needs more Dr. D´s in it!

I met David when my mom was ill with cancer 40 years ago. When she was too weak to get out of bed prior to entering hospice, he made house calls. He spent time, not only with my mom to exam her & visit with her, but also with different members of our family at the kitchen table after checking in on her. He demonstrated genuine concern & empathy for all of us. It was then that he became our family doctor.

Since then, David helped us through our father's death when he died in a MVA. We did not need to go for counseling elsewhere because he helped us through it. He took phenomenal care of one of my brothers who has had a cancerous brain tumor & epilepsy, who has been near death a couple of times & is now cancer free. He took excellent care of me following a rare series of medical events over 10 years ago for which I still need medical care for today.

It seems so unfair that many of us, who have battled serious illnesses under David's care, are still alive, and he has passed. I cannot wrap my mind around him even getting sick. He lived the healthy lifestyle that he tried to encourage his patients to live. The last time I saw him, a year ago this past June, I cried immediately when he walked into the examining room. I knew by looking at his eyes that he was seriously ill. He told me he was "fine." I told him, "Oh, no, you are not fine. I hope you are seeing your doctor, and I will pray for you."

My heart is broken. I was so hopeful David would be fully healed to be able to spend more time with Beth, the love of his life, as well as his precious family - children, grandchildren, siblings, extended family and his dogs.

The artwork he had on display in one of his examining rooms of a patient, surrounded by loved ones, leaving their earthly body to join loved ones who had already passed on, has always touched me deeply for many reasons. Primarily, I knew it expressed truly & fully what David believed about this life & the next, being a doctor & knowing Who is the greatest physician. He knew that all of our lives including his own are truly in God's hands. I have no doubt he is in the presence of the Lord, fully healed, reunited with his parents & his brother. He is alive.

Nevertheless, he is greatly missed on earth by all who know & love him.

The world has lost a very special person. Dr. D was both mine and my husband primary care doctor for over 35 years. He was not only knowledgeable but caring and compassionate. We will never find a doctor that can replace him. We shared with him our love for the sport of fishing. Exchanging both fishing stories and information during our visits. He helped Michael and I through some very difficult times in our life. Helping with everything from a diagnosis to caring advice, or a shoulder to cry on. He was a wonderful person so full of life. We are deeply saddened by his passing. He will be missed. Our thoughts and continued prayers go out to his wife and children. Also to his work colleagues, his presence touched so many. We both loved Dr. D. We have been going to him for several decades and our experiences with him were always friendly and professional. Judy´s parents were also his patients for many years. Dr. D was my wife´s and my GP primary for 35 plus years. His passing brings sorrow. He was my friend. I confided in him. He had a way showing compassion. His eyes, his seriousness followed by hope and a smile; I always left his office feeling better. We talked trout fishing on Oatka creek. God, I will miss him. What a special man he was.

Doctor Dobrynski was one of my favorite people. Yes, he was my doctor but he was much more than that. He was a very charismatic person, and so down to earth. Many Thanksgiving mornings I would run into him at Kelly's apple farm picking up his order, after a morning of him fishing. I will miss his infectious smile, and the caring way he had about him. God bless him, he will be truly missed

Dr. D was my doctor foe 35 + years. He has taken such great care of my health and im forever grateful. I always looked forward to seeing him on my visits. He knew every aspect of my life. My husband changed over to him 20 years ago and and couldn't believe the the difference in a doctor.
The special bond I feel for him is mostly because of his dad.
Dr. Dobrynski Sr. delivered me and my sister! I'm 67 and my sister is 72.
RIP Dr. D you will be missed.

It was the most shocking news I´ve heard in a long time. He made me love going to the doctor. Five minutes talking about medical problems, 30 minutes talking about golf. He took care of my family and when my father in law moved to town he took him on also. The time spent in those little exam rooms will never be forgotten.
He was the best.

Dr. D. Was the most caring doctor we´ve ever had. We will miss him terribly. Rest in peace Dr. D.

In 1986, I needed a new doctor and Dr. Dobrzynski was recommended to me by one of his fellow interns. He spoke highly of his skills as a diagnostician, his kindness and his approachability.

Dr. D. proved to possess all those qualities and many others. He listened. He returned calls. He took time to explain medical issues, some of which would include a diagram on a piece of scrap paper! Over the years, he became a trusted doctor. His advice was always thoughtful and appreciated. Many conversations were held about dogs, education, balancing life´s challenges, staying active and the FLX region.

For some,it´s obvious that their profession is more than a job. It´s a special calling. Dr. Dobrzynski not only lived his calling, but did it with joy and selflessness. He was consistently upbeat and genuine.

Thank you, Dr. D for giving your best to us. You will be greatly missed.

Dr. D was the absolute best Dr ever! I never felt rushed or ignored and he was patient and a great listener. I am very sad that he has passed. I was hoping to see him one more time. I am sorry hearing the news of David passing, he was Great cousin and friend over the 60 plus years to me and our family.

Dr.D, Thank you for being one of the kindest and most compassionate doctors! You always took the time to listen to your patients, never rushed through the appointment. You took care of my mom as she aged with such care and she thought the world of you and we are forever grateful! My sister, daughter and I have been your patients for many many years and felt safe in your care. Your commitment to your patients was felt by all. We will miss you but we know you are at peace. I worked with Dave at Pulsifer Medical for 11 years. He was always kind and helpful. I would bring in donuts or muffins for staff birthdays. I texted Dave to find out what kind he preferred. He didn't respond so he got glazed. Dave's thank you to me was" there's no bad donut." R.I.P. Dave

Dr.D, I will miss you so very much!!! We have been together since you started at Pulsifer Medical at Genesee Hospital. You cared for my parents, sister, and niece over the years. I will miss your sense of humor, your wisdom, and how you always looked out for your patients.
To his family, my heart goes out to all of you. The world has lost a great man who adored his family and loved his wife dearly. He was much loved and respected as a physician. He was truly one of a kind, and I will miss him greatly! Rest now Dr. D. You have earned some peace. The heavens have another angel!

Dr. D has been our PCP for several years and we are heartbroken that the world has lost such a wonderful man. He was the best of humanity, always a warm and calming presence. As a UR classmate, friend, colleague I knew Dave was extraordinary. I was honored to have him as my PCP for almost 40 years. We shared the better part of a lifetime. He was still optimistic when we touched base 10 days ago...Can't imagine anyone filling his shoes

My doctor for 40 yrs. Very kind, caring, personable. We had many conversation over the years... kids...grandkids.... His cars.... So many topics
I am in fear that I will not find another doctor that will treat me the way Dr. D did.
I will truly miss him and pray that he is at peace
