WILMOT - David S. Dugan, born December 22, 1950, passed away December 12, 2009 after a courageous battle with cancer. Dave is survived by his wife Meg Kennedy Dugan, his sisters Nancy and Gretchen, his nephews and nieces Ryan, Dana, Helen, Heather and Mike, his mother-in-law Helen Kennedy and sister and brother-in-law Elizabeth and Daniel Delisi. Dave was born in New Haven, Connecticut to Violet and Robert Dugan. He grew up in Branford, CT and graduated from Branford High School. Dave attended South Central College in New Haven, CT. In 1986 Dave moved to New Hampshire where in 1987 he married Meg Kennedy. Dave worked as a painter for Granite Ledge in Hooksett, NH before going to Hillsboro Ford as a parts clerk. In 2001, Dave became a parts clerk at Claremont Ford, Lincoln, Mercury where he worked until 2009. Dave amassed over many years an incredible collection of music, especially blues and rock, which he enthusiastically shared with his friends and like-minded souls. He was a virtual encyclopedia of artists, musicians, and bands and had a prodigious memory for albums and performers. Dave held a strong reverence for all living beings; he was a lifetime vegetarian and rescued numerous wild animals during his life. Dave adored and centered his life around his family and friends. He will be deeply missed by his wife, Meg, and his "children" Nick, Pat, Kitty, Nugie and Nillie, as well as family and many friends. Memorial Services are to be held on Saturday, December 19 at 1:00 p.m. at the Kearsarge Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Andover, NH www.kuufnh.org. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Upper Valley Humane Society, 300 Old Route 10, Enfield, NH 03748; www.uvhs.org.
