Mr. David "Jacob" Duke, age 28, of Albertville, Alabama, passed away on Thursday, May 8, 2025, at Marshall Medical Center South. His absence leaves a deep void in the hearts of all who loved him.
A visitation to honor and remember Jacob will be held on Monday, May 12, 2025, from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the funeral home. His memory will live on through the love and stories shared by those closest to him.
Born on February 8, 1997, in Alabama, Jacob was the beloved son of Teresa Duke and the late Dennis Owens. He leaves behind a family and community who adored him, including his mother, Teresa & Frank Jenkins of Albertville; his sister, Jessica Jowers of Anniston; his cherished nanny, Brenda Duke of Albertville; his girlfriend, Kathryn Davis, and her daughter, Novie Davis, whom he loved dearly. He will be profoundly missed by his favorite cousin, Ashley Robeson; his special friend, Matthew Hammock; his special son, Collson; his nephews, Trenton Jowers and Carson Minor; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Jacob now rests alongside his father, Dennis Owens; his grandfather, Edward Duke; and his grandparents, Tommy & Karon Owens, who preceded him in passing.
A graveside service to further honor Jacob’s life and legacy will be announced at a later date. Family and friends will be invited to gather once more to celebrate his memory in a peaceful and loving setting.
Honorary pallbearers paying tribute to Jacob’s life are Randy Snow, Trent Coody, Tiffany Copeland, and Alexis Burks.
In honor of Jacob’s memory and his passion for supporting others, the family kindly requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Go Fund Me for Jacobs funeral expenses. This meaningful gesture will help ease the burden in the family’s time of grief.
