David L. Dyson, of Little Rock, Arkansas, passed away on December 22, at the age of 79. He was born on December 31, 1943, to Rev. Leo W. and Ruby Dyson. David was a member of St. Luke United Methodist Church, then a member of Faith United Methodist Church. He performed countless acts of service for the churches and their members. Dave was mission minded; he had a generous heart.
His commitment to serving others extended beyond his civilian life. He proudly served in Vietnam for the United States Air Force. His career in the United States Air Force extended to 20 years. His dedication and loyalty to his country were commendable.
Throughout his life, David had a fulfilling career and made a significant impact on those around him. He worked for Fletcher Manufacture and later utilized his skills as a florist at Breedlove Florist. In addition to his professional accomplishments, David dedicated his time to serving as an Airport Angel with his wife Carol, where they assisted travelers in need.
David was married to Carol Clark Dyson for 46 years, creating a bond built on love and support. David is survived by her, his son Ronnie Dyson, stepson James Colin Rogers (Karin), step grandson Henry Clark Rogers, sisters Beth Ferris (Dick) and Kay Logsdon, bonus family Lisa, Anna, David, and Ryker Jensen, and other extended family and friends.

A visitation will be held at 1:00 pm, followed by a Celebration of his Life at 2:00 pm Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at Smith Little Rock Funeral home, 8801 Knoedl Court, Little Rock, AR 72205. Service can be viewed at: https://www.facebook.com/events.
