David Edington, 62, of New Castle passed away on December 5, 2025. He was born on March 30, 1963, in Landstuhl, Germany to the late Dwaine “Ed” and Francis Marlene (Davis) Edington.
Known for his sense of humor, David had a passion for photography and music, especially the bands Kansas and Kiss, along with playing the drums and bass guitar. He enjoyed collecting fossils, studying WW II history, and watching his favorite western movie star John Wayne. David always loved trips back to Colorado and seeing the mountains.
He is survived by his sons, Tim Edington and Kyle (Hillary) Edington; grandchildren, Kylie, Kyson and Kynnedi Edington; brother, Dwaine (Lisa) Edington; sister, Susan Braunschweig; nieces, Victoria Edington and Annie (Max) Reagan; nephew, Ryan Braunschweig; along with many cousins; aunt and uncle.
Visitation will be on Wednesday December 10, 2025, from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle. You may share a memory or express a condolence od David at www.hinsey-brown.com.
