David Wayne Estel

David W. Estel David Wayne Estel, 54, of East Grafton Road, Fairmont died on Sunday May 24, 2015 at his home of a sudden illness. He was born on December 24, 1960 in Fairmont and was the beloved son of Florence "Patsy" Myers Estel of Fairmont and the late Wayne Estel. In addition to his mother, David is survived by his son, John "J.R." Estel and his wife Heather of Marietta, Ohio and his daughter, Angela "Angie" Estel of Fairmont and his grandchildren, Kirsten Estel and Skylar Estel. Also surviving are an aunt, five uncles, many cousins and his former wife Rose Estel. David was employed as a machinist at R. H. & M. Machine Shop near Morgantown. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and listening to country music. David was a loving, devoted son and father. He had been a wonderful caretaker of his mother for several years. Friends may call at the Carpenter & Ford Funeral Home, 209 Merchant Street Fairmont on Wednesday from 5pm to 8pm and on Thursday 11am to 1pm.
