He is survived by his wife, Terri Frances Fickling, his children, Candice Montgomery, James Hoover III, Ronnie Hoover, and his grandchildren, Adrian Atterberry, Annie Hoover, Jase Hoover, Levi Hoover, and Layla Montgomery
A service will be held in his honor on April 4, 2025 at 1pm at Jenkins Funeral Home, 109 N Main St, Burnet, TX 78611
