David Fierman Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Carmon Windsor Funeral Home on Aug. 31, 2024.
David Alan Fierman, 72, of East Windsor, formerly of Glastonbury, beloved husband for 41 years of Robin (Turner) Fierman and doting father of Elizabeth Paige Fierman, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, August 30, 2024, with his family by his side.
In addition to Robin, the love of his life, and Elizabeth, the light of his life, his memory is cherished by his sister, Amy (Fierman) Kaminsky, her husband Steve, and their children Peter (Alyssa) and Megan (Tyler); along with a host of other relatives, in-laws, and dear friends.
Born in Englewood, NJ to Robert and Pearl (Wells) Fierman and raised in Colonia, NJ, he went on to graduate from Quinnipiac College where he made cherished lifelong friends. He worked as a territory sales lead in educational publishing where he traveled the country, satisfying his love of exploration, local restaurants (never chains!) and visiting friends.
David was an avid home cook and loved experimenting with recipes and cooking for friends and family for any occasion. He was a decades-long volunteer starting with the Greater Hartford Open and numerous PGA Tour events around the country, where he made incredible memories alongside his close friends.
Known by those who loved him most for his blue eyes, dimples and dry sense of humor. He loved long walks, classic rock, and shrimp (in any form!).
The Fiermans' deepest thanks go to the incredibly compassionate care team that supported David, most notably his buddy Saige.
His family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 3, 11 a.m.-12 p.m., with a Memorial Service, 12 p.m., at Carmon Funeral Home, 807 Bloomfield Ave., Windsor.
Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of David may be made to the American Red Cross, 209 Farmington Ave., Farmington, CT 06032 or please, because David was an avid blood donor, consider donating blood in memory of David.
