David John Firth

I was first introduced to Dave Firth by Ralph Butler at the MEAD corporation one rainy day in Chillicothe, Ohio; Dave was working for Eagle Research, Ralph was interested in the technology that Dave had been working on. After that introduction Ralph told me in detail what a great person he was and how smart he was. Next thing I knew Dave was working with us at Columbia Gas. He was a major asset to the electronic measurement program and then expanded his career into multiple fields. Dave was a wonderful person and a good friend. I was privileged to have known him. I worked with Dave my entire 29+ years at NiSource/Columbia. Many years he was my leader. I truly enjoyed working with him and for him. Great guy and so intelligent. A lot of good times and memories from Civic Center to Goodale to Marble Cliff to Gahanna. I will really miss him.

Dave will be missed by all who knew him. I always have had great respect for Dave. He was a great person and extremely intelligent.
