Your obituary said Dave's "warm, magnetic spirit left a lasting impression on everyone he met." I was one of those people. I met Dave out here in Utah through my college friend Tom Stechschulte and his wife, Val. Tom said "you have to meet my buddy. He's a great guy." How right he was. We started golfing together, the four of us, and then Dave and I continued after Tom and Val moved to southern Utah. We'd meet at Mountain Dell, halfway between our houses. We played together before and after the pandemic, and talked on the phone during it. I was sadly disappointed when he moved back East but thoroughly understood why. I'm so glad he got to play golf at that free community course he was so proud of. Sometimes people come through your life that you only know for a relatively short time, but you nonetheless become thick as thieves. That's how I felt about Dave. Hit 'em straight and long, good buddy. Go Nittany Lions. Resist the Orange Cockroach.

I am so saddened by the news of Dave's passing. I had the pleasure to work with him for many years and I always enjoyed our conversations and teamwork. My thoughts and prayers got out to his family and friends....no doubt, he will be missed!
