David Fiske

David Leon Fiske, 69, of Beach Park, IL passed away on January 30, 2026. He was born on November 30, 1956, in Elkhorn, WI, the son of Darl and Jeannine (Willemsem) Fiske. David was a devoted father, family man, and a friend whose kindness and steady presence touched the lives of many. He was known for his hardworking nature, his willingness to help others, his generous heart, and his love of flying, motorcycles, and playing the guitar. He took great pride in his family and cherished time spent with those he loved. Whether sharing stories, music, talking about aviation, lending a helping hand, or offering thoughtful advice, David made those around him feel loved, valued, and cared for. David is survived by his loving daughters, Valarie Fiske and Laura (Dave) Horan; beloved granddaughters, Rebecca, Brooke, Elizabeth, Madalyn, and Olivia, who he loved dearly; brother, Charles "Chuck" (Jane) Fiske; and sisters, Lisa (Kenton) Mallett, Anne (Scott) Dennis, Nola Fiske Patrick, Darla (Rick) Perry; father, Charles (Patti) Burch, along with many extended family members, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will cherish his memory forever. David was preceded in death by his son, Michael Anthony Fiske; parents, Darl and Jeannine Fiske; aunt, Joyce Bethke; uncles, Roger Willemsem, Peter Willemsem, and Albert Dewayne Reynolds. A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 12, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. followed by a service at 11:00 a.m. at Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Rd., Zion, IL. Burial will follow the service at Mt.
