David Thomas Fox, 87, a longtime resident of Wilton, NH, went home to the Lord on Thursday, December 26, 2024.
Born on October 31, 1937, in Winchester, MA, he was the son of Calvin and Edna (Thomas) Fox.
David was raised in Wakefield, MA and graduated from trade school in 1955. He then worked at Murray Printing Company in Westford, MA, and later settled in Wilton, NH where, he became a Vice President at Label Art. He also co-founded Condon and Fox Building Corporation.
He was an active volunteer with FISH (Friends in Service Helping) and was always ready to lend a hand with a smile.
David was predeceased by his first wife, Freda (Leroy) Fox. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Denise (Wright) Fox; his brother, Richard Fox of Minturn, CO; his children: Pamela (Fox) Condon and her husband Thomas of New Boston, Gregory David Fox and his wife Maria Truglio of State College, PA, Amy Deanna Fox and her husband Neil Watson of Calgary, Alberta, Canada, and Marianne Louise Jones and her husband Michael Jones of Milford, NH. He also leaves behind nieces Lisa Fox of CO and Cindy (Fox) D’Amico of TX; five grandchildren: Kristin O’Neil, John Condon, Aidan Fox, Shaquan Graham, Lauren Nay; and four great-grandchildren: Jolene, Rowan, Margaret, and Brigid.
David, an avid reader, had a deep love for the outdoors and enjoyed harvesting wood and landscaping his property. He cherished fun family gatherings and had a playful spirit, often playing jokes to bring smiles and laughter to those around him. His family is grateful for the many stories that will be shared for generations to come.
In accordance with his wishes, a private family gathering will be held at a later date.
