In Loving Memory of David Fox October 8, 1976 – April 9, 2025
David Fox was born on October 8, 1976, in Bucks County, Pennsylvania and raised with love by his mother, Lorraine Fox-Andrews in Trenton, New Jersey. Alongside his siblings Angelo and Rachel, David grew up surrounded by family who shaped the man he became—kind, thoughtful, and full of heart. On April 9, 2025, David passed away peacefully at his home in Lima, Ohio, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and resilience.
David is survived by his mother and stepfather, Lorraine and Stepfon Andrews; his father and stepmother, Angelo and Marlyne Heyliger; and his children: David Fox Jr. of Springfield, Illinois, Christopher Fox of Lima, Ohio, and daughters London and Kailin Fox of Trenton, New Jersey. He was a proud grandfather to Raelynn, Caleigha, Camrynn, Charley, and Kharmanie, who brought him endless joy.
He is also survived by his siblings: brothers Angelo Fox and Angelo Heyliger, and sisters Rachel (Ashlee) Weaver, Angela Heyliger, Janet Heyliger, and Vilma Brown. David’s memory will live on through his beloved nieces and nephews: Aazhine’, Angelo, Adonis, Cadence, Nazire, and Nadia.
David was preceded in death by his beloved son, Noah Fox, as well as his Aunt Jacqueline Fox and Uncle Mark Fox—losses he carried deeply.
He will be missed dearly by his extended family: Aunts Roxanne and Suzanne, Uncles Matt and Frank (for whom he was lovingly named), and the many cousins and lifelong friends who loved him like a brother.
To know David was truly to love him. Whether with a word of encouragement or a perfectly timed joke, he had an unmatched ability to lift spirits and bring people together. His impact was felt by all who crossed his path, and his legacy will live on in the hearts of everyone who knew him.
David’s family would like to express their deepest gratitude for the outpouring of love, calls, and messages they have received. They ask that you honor his memory by sharing his stories, keeping his spirit alive, and holding each other a little closer.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. - 12 p.m. on Saturday, April 19, 2025, at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, Lima, Ohio. The funeral service will follow at 12 p.m.
