David E. Fye

David Eugene Fye, 44, of S. Cascade Street, died Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at his residence in New Castle. He was born on October 7, 1978 in New Castle, a son of Eugene and Lorraine M. (Smiley) Fye, his parents survive in New Castle. David was a mixologist at Soap Plant INC. for 10 years. He enjoyed kayaking, swimming, camping, and being with his buddies. He always had a smile on his face no matter what, and he always worried and cared for everyone asking nothing in return.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by one nephew who he raised, Chase Perrine of New Castle, five sisters, Crystal M. Genareo and her husband Sam of Jackson Center, PA, Casandra A. Lascola and her companion Buddy Moore of New Castle, Charnie Gonzalez and her husband Ricardo of New Castle, Samantha M. Fye of New Castle, and Mary Jo Fye of Texas, and a number of nieces and nephews, who loved him dearly.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Eugene C. Fye, Jr.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 22. 2023 from 3 PM to 6 PM at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue. Funeral services will be celebrated Tuesday, August 22, 2023 at 6:00 PM at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Rev. Matthew Bupp will officiate.
