David Gaipo Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Rebello Funeral Home & Crematory on Feb. 6, 2026.
Lake Worth, Florida - David T. Gaipo,62, known affectionately as Dave by his friends and family, passed away peacefully at his home in Lake Worth, Florida, on Saturday, January 24, 2026. Born on March 18, 1963, in Providence, Rhode Island, to Maria Adelina (Garcia) Gaipo and the late Hermano Gaipo, Dave was a devoted son, protective brother, and a cherished uncle.

Dave grew up in a close-knit family and shared an unbreakable bond with his siblings. He was the caring brother of Jose Gaipo of Palm City, Florida, and the late Hermano T. Gaipo and Steven T. Gaipo. His warmth, generosity, and keen sense of humor brought joy to many family gatherings, leaving behind a legacy of laughter and love. Dave's spirit will continue to live on through the countless memories he created with his beloved nieces and nephews, who saw him as both a mentor and a friend.

After graduating from high school, Dave dedicated himself to a career as a maintenance worker with the Elat Group, USA. His remarkable work ethic and commitment to excellence were evident to all who worked alongside him. Dave's colleagues respected him for his reliability and the meticulous care he put into every task. His kindness and friendly disposition made him a favorite among his peers, and his handy nature often led to him being the go-to person for advice and assistance on a wide range of projects.

Dave's influence extended beyond his professional life. He was actively involved with his community, where his helpful attitude made a significant impact. Whether lending a hand at local events or offering his skills to neighbors in need, Dave's altruistic spirit was a beacon of light in the lives of those around him.

Those who knew Dave will remember him for his gentle heart and his unwavering ability to put others at ease. His presence was a source of comfort and stability, and his actions always spoke louder than words. Dave's kindness was a gift he freely gave, and it will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

As we bid farewell to David T. Gaipo, we celebrate a life lived with purpose, kindness, and an enduring commitment to others. His legacy will be honored not only through the cherished memories he leaves behind but also through the example he set of a life well-lived. Dave's journey on this earth has ended, but the impressions he left on the hearts of those he touched will be everlasting.

His funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 14,2026 at 9:00am in the REBELLO FUNERAL HOME,901 Broadway, East Providence, RI. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 550 Wampanoag Trail, East Providence. Calling hours and flowers are respectfully omitted.
