David A. Geraldson, age 93, of Waukesha passed away on Wednesday, September 18, 2024. David is survived by his wife of 73 years, Velma Taylor Geraldson, children Sally (Chris) Scott, Dave (Nadine) Geraldson Jr, Ann (Marc) Rhodes, Carl (Jane) Geraldson, Eric (Molly) Geraldson, grandchildren Ben, Caroline, Laura, Kerry, Joe, Marty, Holly, Nick, Kjersti, Anson, Taylor, Adam, Spencer, Isabel, 15 great grandchildren, along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A memorial service for Dave will be held Saturday, November 2, 2024, at Pagenkopf Funeral Home in Oconomowoc at 4:00 PM. Visitations for family and friends will be held at the funeral home from 2:00 PM until the time of service, with a buffet following the service.
Dave was born in Racine, WI, grew up in Rockford, IL graduating from Rockford East High School. He attended and graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison where he met the love of his life Velma Taylor. He moved to Waukesha in 1962 when he and his brother Jerry purchased Precision Gears, Inc. He owned and ran Precision Gears with his brother and then sons until 2018. Dave was a past president of the Waukesha Kiwanis Club, lifetime advisory board member of the Waukesha Salvation Army, past president of the Waukesha YMCA and served on many fundraising drives throughout the years. He and his wife were one of the founding members of Southminster Presbyterian Church in Waukesha, and currently members of Elmbrook Church. Dave placed his trust in Jesus Christ and sought to follow him well. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Waukesha Salvation Army.
