David Porter Graham, lovingly known as Dave, passed away on January 29, 2026, at the age of 82. He was born on October 19, 1943, in
Seattle, Washington, and made Wenatchee his home beginning in 1979-a place where he built his life, his family, and a legacy of hard work and integrity.
Dave married Jeraldine Graham on October 19, 2011, and together they welcomed their son, Jaden Graham. Dave was a devoted husband and father who took pride in providing for and standing by his family.
He was the father of Chantell Graham, Wayne Richartz (Stephanie), Jennifer Graham (who preceded him in death in 1978), Amanda Jordan (Jeremiah), and Jaden Graham. He was a proud grandfather to Andy Peart, Kevin Peart, Caleb McMahon, Justin McMahon, Corey Jordan, Jacob Jordan, Hayden Jordan, Gannon Jordan, Isaac Jordan, and Kayden Richartz, and a great-grandfather to many.
Dave worked as a surveyor, a career well-suited to his strong work ethic and practical nature. He believed deeply in hard work, honesty, and integrity-values he lived by and passed down to his family.
Nothing reflected who Dave was more than the home he built on Stemilt Hill. In 1979, he purchased a piece of land and began the long, hands-on journey of turning it into the Graham family home. He started by preparing the land himself, later placing a single-wide mobile home on the property. Over the next decade, through determination and countless hours of labor, he developed the land and built sheds, a woodshed, a cellar, a chicken coop, and even a pasture for his daughters' pony. In 1991, he purchased a brand-new double-wide and added a garage, completing the home he was immensely proud of-a place that became the heart of the Graham family.
Dave was hardworking, strong, stubborn in the best way, and larger-than-life. He loved music of all kinds-from AC/DC to country-enjoyed building things with his hands, fishing, and watching boxing. He believed in honest people, a strong work ethic, and doing what was right.
He will be remembered for his kind heart, his legendary hugs, and the peaceful spirit he brought to every day. He lived by the gentle wisdom of never going to bed angry-a testament to his steady strength and devotion. His presence was a gift, and his loss is deeply felt by all who knew him.
Dave was preceded in death by his parents, Granville Graham and Gladys Dalseg, his daughter Jennifer Graham, and his brother James "Jimmy" Graham. He is survived by his brother, Richard Graham.
