David H. Griffis was a beloved friend, son, and cat lover who passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 29, 2024 at the age of 65. He was surrounded by close friends who had become like family to him over the years.
David's parents, Charles and Ruth Griffis, had passed away before him but he found solace in the loving relationships he had cultivated throughout his life.
David had a zest for life and enjoyed spending his time with those he held dear. He had a special bond with his "kitty cat," whom he adored and cherished. His love for animals was evident in the way he cared for his companion; providing it with all the affection and attention it needed.
In addition to his love for animals, David had a passion for airplanes, motorcycles, and cars.
He would often be found watching car races on his TV, mesmerized by the speed and excitement of the sport. David was a reliable and dependable friend, always willing to lend a hand or offer support whenever it was needed. His generosity and kindness touched the lives of many, and his presence will be deeply missed by those who had the privilege of knowing him.
Despite the challenges life threw his way, David remained steadfast in his faith. Recently, he accepted Jesus Christ as his lord and savior, finding solace and comfort in his newfound spiritual beliefs. It is a comfort to know that David is now at peace in heaven, free from pain and suffering, surrounded by the love and light of the divine.
As we mourn the loss of David, let us remember him fondly for the joy and laughter he brought into our lives. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him, and his legacy of kindness and compassion will continue to inspire us all. Rest in peace, dear friend. You will be forever missed and never forgotten.
