It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of David Minh Ha, cherished husband, devoted father, beloved son, brother, and friend, who left this world on August 4, 2025, at the age of 37. Born in Atlanta, Georgia, David was a vibrant spirit, widely known as DJ Ha, and shared his passion for music as a dedicated DJ for more than 15 years.
David's greatest joy was his family. He was a loving and devoted husband to Regina Meas, his partner in life and love, whose unwavering support and companionship meant everything to him. He was a proud and playful father to his daughters, Malia Milner and Keilani Meas, whose laughter, curiosity, and accomplishments filled him with pride. David embraced fatherhood with an open heart, teaching his girls not only to dream big, but also to live with kindness, courage, and joy.
He was the beloved son of Hien Ha and Huong Tran, who nurtured his passion for life from the very beginning. His father instilled in him the values of integrity, resilience, and generosity, while his mother surrounded him with unconditional love, encouragement, and care. Together, they shaped the man whose presence touched so many lives.
David was also a deeply loved brother to Lisa Ha, with whom he shared an unshakable bond. From mischievous childhood adventures to heartfelt adult conversations, Lisa and David were more than siblings - they were each other's constants. She will forever treasure his humor, his playful spirit, and the way he could make her laugh in any moment.
Beyond his immediate family, David had a wide circle of friends who became like family over the years. Whether from his days behind the DJ booth, his outdoor adventures, or meals shared around the table, David built connections that lasted a lifetime. His friends remember him as the one who could light up any room, offer a helping hand without hesitation, and bring people together through laughter, kindness, and music.
Services will be held on Sunday, August 10, 2025, beginning at 6:00 AM in the Buford Chapel of Crowell Brothers Funeral Homes & Crematory, with Buddhist rites observed. Cremation will follow the service.
David Minh Ha lived a life filled with love, laughter, and adventure. Though he is no longer with us, his spirit will forever remain in the hearts of his family and friends. May he rest in peace.
