Dave,

I was deeply saddened to hear of your passing. You were my first counselor at Heart Camp, and you forever made an impact on my life-one of the many reasons I continue to return year after year. We may have had different opinions on everyday life, but at Heart Camp, none of that mattered. We were campers at heart.

I will never forget the antics you and Greenawalt pulled, like the morning the cows were out in the field in a very particular position. I made sure to carry on those shenanigans for years and have passed the torch to others to continue the tradition.

You will be greatly missed. Please watch over your beautiful children and wife. May God bless you and your family. This isn´t "goodbye"-it´s "I´ll see you later."

Saddened to hear of Dave´s passing. He will always be remembered with kindness, and I will cherish the memories I have of him. Sending heartfelt condolences to the Hart family during this difficult time.

Dave, your voice often made me cry, and you knew your voice was an ultimate favorite of mine. I was so lucky to make art with you in college and then later in life when you (thank goodness someone did) staged a reading of Space Jam at Arcade. How lucky we all have been to call you friend. Thank you for being in my corner, buddy.

Uncle Dee, Aunt Ruth, Kim, Sammie, and Skylyr - we´re holding you all close in our hearts and thinking of you with sincere sympathy. May cherished memories of David and shared love bring you comfort during this difficult time.

The world is a much lesser place without him. I will never forget his kind, smiling, happy face. I wasn't just another fraternity brother of his, he made me feel like a real brother. That was part of how wonderful and special he was. There may never be another quite like him even though the world could use a few million like him. R.I.P. Brother Hart. You will always missed and loved.

I was never the picture taking type but the older we got, we always tried to take at least one wherever we were hanging out. I couldn't have asked for a better best friend. We both loved that we got to hang out and also our kids got to hang out. It gave us more reasons to get together. I miss you and I love you brother!

My dear sweet baby brother. The hole that is left without you here is ginormous. I love you more than words can ever express.
