It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of David Michael Hodapp, a beloved husband and skilled Mason Tender of High Ridge, MO. He was born on October 29, 1964, in
Saint Louis, MO, to Jerome Hodapp, Sr. and Mary B. Hodapp (nee Stankey). He sadly departed from this world on February 22, 2024.
David will always be remembered for his dedication to his craft within the construction industry, where he worked tirelessly as a Mason Tender and a member of the LIUNA Local 110. His commitment to his work was second only to his unwavering love for his wife, Shelia Hodapp (nee Hamlett), who stood by his side through thick and thin. Together, they created a lifetime of cherished memories that will forever be treasured.
David was the loving father of Ryan (Danielle) Hodapp of
St. Louis, MO., Josh (Abby) Hodapp of
Wentzville, MO., Courtney Hodapp of
Fenton, MO., Katelyn (Jake) Lowe (nee Glenn) of
Belleville, IL., and Kenny (Abby) Glenn of
Midway, IL.
He was the cherished grandfather of Brynlee Hodapp, Emma Hodapp, Myla Hodapp, Bryson Bogel and Bailey Bogel.
David was the dear brother of Patricia (Brian) Adams, Jerry (Cindy) Hodapp, Jr., and Missy (Craig) Barnhart.
As we celebrate David's life, we invite friends, family, and loved ones to join us in honoring him at his memorial gathering, March 3, 2024, 1:00pm - 4:00pm at Jay B. Smith Funeral Home in
Fenton, MO.While it is undoubtedly a time of sorrow, let us also commemorate the life of David Hodapp and the joy he brought to all those who had the privilege of knowing him. May his spirit live on in our hearts, and may we find solace in the memories we shared with him.
